TheSDUDINRailDCUPSisanadvanced24 Vdc uninterruptiblepowersystemthatcombinesanindustry leadingdesignwithawideoperationaltemperaturerange anduniqueinstallationoptions.TheSDUDCUPSisa powerful,microprocessorcontrolledUPSthatprovides protectionfrompowerinterruptions.Withaninputvoltage rangeof22.5 to30.0 Vdc,theDCUPSistheidealpower back-upsolutionforyourcriticalconnectedloads.
Theseunitsweredesigned specificallyforusewithSolaHD’s popularSDNSeriesofpowersupplies. SolaHD’sexternal batterymoduleistheonlyoneonthemarketthatallowsyou tosealtheelectronicsinthepanelandmaintainsafetyby placingthebatteryoutsideofanon-ventilatedenclosure.
Theseunitsincludeeasytowirescrewterminationsfor critical devicesneedingbatteryback-up. TheSDUDCUPS includesanautomaticself-testfeaturethatcheckstheUPS andbatteryfunctions.Batterychargingoccursautomatically wheninputDCpowerisapplied.Whenpowerfails,theDC UPSwillswitchtobatteryback-up. Ifthebatteryisnolonger useful,theUPSwillsoundanalarmandanLEDindicatorwill illuminate.
Back-up powerprotectioninmodernindustrialapplications dependsmainlyonACUPS.ACisconvertedtoDC,and convertedback toACintheACUPS,thenconverted
